Most folks are lucky enough not to lose a good friend at an early adult age. I was one of the unlucky ones. This is the tale I wrote for my dying friend while she was undergoing cancer treatments some 1,700 miles away in her fight to survive. She was able to have the manuscript read to her, in its entirety, by her family, before leaving us.
Stephen Banister has written ten works of fiction, half of which have reached publication. He is working to get the other five in print and audio before he too leaves us.
