When Jeremiah Harris died, he expected life to be easy. His consciousness was uploaded and sent to the digital retirement home Everafter… at least it should have been. Instead, he woke up in a digital nightmare as the only player in the first-person shooter, Paxor Seven. Now, with no way to contact the outside world for help, he has to navigate a hostile environment and a corporation unsympathetic to his plight. Until he can figure out a way to get to Everafter, his only option is to play the game.
